One thing you will find out when you first enter the market is that there are so many opinions and viewpoints out there. You will hear smart people on the news and you will hear trusted friends all talk about stocks that are “forsure things”.
The problem with this is that there is no such thing as a “forsure thing”. Never just aimlessly buy a hot stock tips just because it is being talked about a lot. There are two problems with that.
The first is that most people do not know what they are talking about. They are lost in the hype just like everybody else. The second is that the people who do know what they are talking about might just be involved in some pump and dump scheme, it happens more than you think.
When it comes to investing everything has risk and the best way to manage it is to study and find out more about the company. The more you study and take it upon yourself to learn and make your own decisions the more this world will reward you.
